Recycle for the next Solar Eclipse
Recycle those eclipse viewers! Schools in South America & Asia will be viewing another eclipse in 2019, and Astronomers Without Borders will send recycled glasses to schools in need there. There are collection boxes in the front office.
No, they're not watching a 3D movie! Watching the sun's path during a colar eclipse requires special eye protection. PLEASE don't try to watch with normal sunglasses - even a partial eclipse can damage your eyes. Be aware that many viewers being sold are fake knock-offs and won't actually protect your eyes. TALK WITH YOUR SCIENCE TEACHER.
